Utah Girls Trip

In October 2024 I went on my first trip with Atlas Adventures. I had a blast, but the best thing about it was the girls I met. It was on this trip at an Irish pub in Milan the pub girls were born.
When it came time for a reunion trip, I nominated myself to plan it because I am that Type A friend who will take charge. We picked Utah because we are reality TV girlies who love Bravo, RHOSLC and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
Here is our very Bravo-coded itinerary:
Night 1 - Salt Lake City
Check-in to the hotel, the Kimpton Monaco Salt Lake City This hotel was recently renovated, is centrally located and the rooms are huge!
Dinner at Urban Hill. An elevated-dining experience, located in the Post District.
(20 minute walk from hotel)
Drinks at Lake Effect. Full disclosure I picked this bar because according to Instagram it had a pink bathroom. It does, but that bathroom is upstairs in the "club" part. We're not exactly club girls, so we sat downstairs.
(Next door to hotel)
Day 2 - Salt Lake City
Breakfast at Eva's Bakery. (Soooo good and so cute!) Walk around Temple Square.
Shopping around City Creek Center. Several of us ended up with new boots from Tecovas. Tecovas will brand initials and symbols on your boots for free and each location has their own special stamp. We all got the Utah trout stamp!
Lunch at Red Iguana. Home-style Mexican comfort food using family recipes. Delicious, but they were out of Vida Tequila! Not cool.
Visit Beauty Lab and Laser. We had to visit THE site of the famous sprinter van scene. IYKYK. They were super nice and let us walk around and had tons of merch for us to shop. Sadly, Heather wasn't there.
Drinks at Swig. We had our Uber driver take us to Swig on the way back to the hotel. The drinks were delicious, I get the hype now.
Afternoon rest.
Dinner at Valter's. The site of Mary's Met Gala lunch. We picked this restaurant because of the show, but can I tell you, it was incredible. The service, the food - 10/10!
Drinks at the hotel bar, The Vault.
Day 3 - Park City
Head to Park City via private car (not a little family van).
Check-in to the hotel, Montage Deer Valley. Then we immediately went to the pool to have lunch poolside.
Explore Park City. I was on a mission to go to Kemo Sabe and have my Kyle Richards hat making experience. I loved every second of it!
(Side note: the hotel has a shuttle that runs back and forth to Park City every half hour)
Right next to Kemo Sabe is Lisa Barlow's bar, Premiere Park City. We obviously had to go get our Vida tequila. Then we all lost our sh*t when THE queen of Park City herself walked in. After awkwardly fangirling, we made a move to say hi. Well, the queen and her lovely husband John ended up hanging out with us for two hours. TWO HOURS. They could not have been nicer. I have always been a Lisa fan, but now I am a Lisa superfan.
Dinner at High West Saloon. They don't take reservations, but we were able to get a table quickly. Celebrated for its award-winning whiskeys and welcoming ambiance, High West Saloon blends rustic charm with elevated hospitality.
After dinner we found an Irish Pub - which is a must for our group. And, it was karaoke night! We had a blast.
Day 4 - Park City
Breakfast at the hotel in the main restaurant.
Fly Fishing. I am a huge fan of fly fishing and the girls were such good sports to indulge me! We had a blast and most of us caught a fish or two.
After fishing, we had lunch at the hotel at Burgers & Bourbon. The nachos hit the spot!
Dinner at Riverhorse on Main, which is one of the oldest and most distinguished restaurants in Park City. They even had live music!
Drinks at No Name Saloon. We had to stop in this iconic bar before heading home for the night.
Back at the hotel, we had one more round of drinks at the hotel bar. And another round out by the fire.
Day 5
We all (sadly) went home!
